In my media lesson on the 16th of September, we had to vote out of 3 choices that i and the rest of the students had decided on, the one we decided to use was 'Getting exam results'. We were then put into groups of 3, i was with Maya and Enshell. We were all also given a camera to film our work. We used certain frames e.g. Birds eye, long shot etc. At first Enshell was filming me and Maya, walking up the stairs with a birds eye view, with our exam results in hand. Then we had a long shot of me and Maya still walking up the stairs. We then used a close-up shot of Maya and me walking past the camera. The next shot was of us opening our exam results, the frame used was a medium shot, this means just showing our upper body, we used this to show Maya's frustration in the scene. We again used a medium shot, to show me consoling Maya.
Me and Enshell then done the same scenario, but with slightly different shots. We chose to show mine and Maya's Scene.

Rule of Third
The rule of third is the positioning of a subject in a shot. The focus point of the shot, normally is where the crossing of 2 lines are. The top line is usually where the eyes are positioned.
